Inspired by Parisian Chic // Itty Bitty Bijou

I have been very inspired by everything French for some time now - from beautiful French weddings and desperately wanting to plan a trip there to Parisian chic fashion. If I were to visit Paris, I would take a stroll with my camera and enjoy lunch at a cafe. Of course I would love to look the part too! So, here I created an outfit based on Parisian Chic - Skinny jeans, casual t-shirt paired with a beautiful blazer, stripes, converse and of course a hint of red!

Pink Black & White Bridal Shower Inspirations // Itty Bitty Bijou

Pink, Black and white bridal showers have been trending this season, especially including black and white stripes! Here are some great inspirations for a fun shower with your friends and family based on this color palette...

Key pieces to make this look work include a black and white striped table cloth or runner, add dashes of pink with flowers and napkins and don't forget to use the desserts and drinks to match too! You can use an array of pink tones from pastel to neon - have fun with it!

Black & Gold Bridal Shower Inspirations // Itty Bitty Bijou

Today I have some beautiful inspirations for both Bridal and Baby Showers, with a glitzy Black & Gold theme! With gold calligraphy on black for stationery, fringing to hang above dessert tables and marvelous Macarons! I adored these examples of macarons - the white versions decorated with gold chevrons and the rich black macarons - these would look perfect with a hint of edible gold leaf too!

The fun doesn't stop there either - get creative with drinks, such as the shot glasses with rims dusted glittery gold sugar and also the black balloon drink stirrers!

A Summer Garden Shower // Itty Bitty Bijou

An easy summer party set in the garden - ideal for a gathering of friends or of course a Bridal or Baby shower! I love the bright colours and the idea is focused around the food and drinks. Pink lemonade, milkshakes, ice cream served in teacups all set on beautiful serving trays. Add some cute seating such as leather Moroccan pouffes and pretty blankets and throws....

Pantone's Radiant Orchid Wedding Inspirations // Itty Bitty Bijou

Yehy - finally an inspiration board is back on Itty Bitty Bijou! I have missed doing them and I've had lots of emails asking about them, but do not fear - I have plenty to share and I am still doing them, I have just had a busy old time behind the scenes.

So, here we have some inspirations for incorporating 'Radiant Orchid' (the colour of the year) into your wedding. I would personally do it with flowers, adding touches of this colour to the bouquet, bridesmaids flowers and I love the idea of scattering petals too...

Festive Inspirations - Plum & Cranberry Christmas

Here is a beautiful inspiration board for the holiday season with a colour palette of deep plum, cranberry and winter white. Inspired by Autumn Winter makeup trends which include these deep, rich, berry colours for lips and nails ( you may have seen this mentioned in my Friday Favourites here ).

> Food is always important to me around the holiday period as there are plenty of delicious dishes we only seem to eat at this time of year. I looked for food that said 'Christmas' as well as scrumptious!

> Cranberry filled Macarons, Cranberry Cookies, Winter Berry Pie and the stunning Cranberry topped Christmas Cake are all beautiful treats.
> Mulled wine is a must over the holidays and this recipe for the mulled wine poached pears I found at Fork and Flower sounds amazing!
> Adding berries for decoration is a must as well as a hint of Fir tree. The elegant ribbon & cone decoration is simple to diy and a sophisticated touch too!

Bridal Shower Inspirations - You've Got Mail...

We've not done a Bridal Shower Inspiration Board for a while and I recently watched one of my all time favorite romantic movies - You've Got Mail, with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. It's such a heartwarming movie and I love the New York setting! It inspired me to create this latest inspiration board with cute little details from the film. Daises are Kathleen's favorite flower and Pride & Prejudice is also her favorite book, these can both be used as pretty centrepieces...

Floral crowns are becoming a huge trend for weddings - worn by Brides, Bridesmaids and flowers girls either as a statement piece or something more delicate. Reminiscent of the 1970's and also Boho looks, and Claire Pettibone's wedding dress collections' saw models wearing floral crowns - what better influence?! We love floral crowns - they seem to evoke a beautiful, whimsical vibe with a vintage edge. Our latest ideas for a perfectly stylish Bridal Shower resulted in our inspiration board with an industrial chic concept. This has been really popular already! { See it here } We have found some perfect looks for the party for both the bride-to-be and also her guests - we always think it's nice to get people involved with your event style by wearing something which compliments it. It also looks superb on the photographs!

Party Inspirations - A Neon Pink Party

For today's party ideas we created the concept 'Neon Pink Party' which could easily be applied to Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Garden Parties or even just a gathering with the girls! From neon pink dipped roses and pink macarons with a dusting of glittery gold, to your guests attire with
hints of pink too. Get your neon on!

Bridal Shower Inspirations - Lovely Lace - Get the Look

We recently created some ideas for a Bridal Shower with a Lace theme { here } and as promised we have a follow up with 'What to Wear' inspirations for both the Bride-to-be and her guests! Bridal Shower Inspirations - Lovely Lace

We have a beautiful Bridal shower inspiration board to share today and the theme is lace - lots of lovely feminine, pretty lace! From the Bride-to-be's dress to the cake, cake toppers and centerpieces - little hints of delicate lace adorn this Bridal Shower.

Guests would attend also wearing something to match the theme too - this could be anything from a full lace dress to lace printed accessories! We shall put together a follow up post of 'What to Wear' ideas!

Wedding Inspirations - Inspired by Brumley and Wells Photography

We are huge fans of Brumley and Wells Photography which consists of husband and wife team Annie and Jacob. Their beautiful, light, and whimsical images are swoon-worthy, gasp-worthy and simply delightful! Party Inspirations - Moroccan Tea Party - Pink

We have been working on another lovely board of party ideas with the inspiration of a Moroccan Tea Party. We have created two versions of this - a very serene, neutral palette { you can view on our previous post here }and this vibrant, colourful palette of pinks!

This theme would be great for a summer garden party, a bridal shower, baby shower or you could even incorporate some of these ideas into your wedding! Here's our pretty pink palette inspiration board for a Moroccan Tea Party...

> Lots of dashes of pink, from paler tones to vivid pink,

> Add complimenting colours too such as lilac/purple and turquoise,

> Moroccan lamps, lanterns, serving trays, bowls and glasses,
